April Callin

April has had a passion for photography and design her whole life. She grew up in Prince Edward Island, Canada and then moved to Ottawa, Canada after her high school graduation. Her father gave her a manual SLR camera and she began taking the Photography program at Algonquin College in Ottawa. She moved to Toronto in 2000 and in 2003 she had a beautiful baby girl, which only enhanced her love for taking photographs and began photographing families and children. While in Toronto she met some extremely creative and unique people, and this inspired her to expand her creativity by dabbling in graphic design and creative concept photography. 

 

in 2014, she moved back to Prince Edward Island with her daughter, and takes advantage of the endless beautiful landscapes that the Island has to offer.

 

She is currently seeking out opportunities to photograph people in a way that is different than anyone else in PEI by incorporating her graphic design skills and using photo manipulation to create "Out of Bounds" effects with family portraits and is also starting to get creative with her fashion photography as well.
